Welcome to Blu Jeans

Hello everyone! My name is Isla Burman and I am the founder/CEO of Blu Jeans. Blu Jeans is a brand that makes custom fitted jeans for girls to help with increasing body positivity and confidence. Over the past years, I’ve seen people I know struggle with finding a good pair of jeans. Some jeans can be too long, short, tight, or loose which makes a lot of us feel like parts of our bodies are too short, long, big, or small.  

In my experience, I always found it hard to find pants that are not too long. At 5’1”. I am usually frustrated when pants or jeans are too long for my body. It makes me feel bad about myself and my body when I have to go to get my pants or jeans tailored. The same thing goes for other girls and women who are very tall. Fashion companies around the world need to start being more inclusive to the diversity of bodies that all of us have. That’s where Blu Jeans comes in. By having custom fitted jeans we can all feel beautiful just as we are.

On this blog, I will be talking about my personal experience with fashion and the jeans our company is designing. I’ll share news articles on body positivity and confidence and talk about ways that I am striving to love my body better so you can, too.
